The University of Findlay is excited to announce the addition of a new Makerspace in the Shafer Library. This collaborative workspace provides a platform for students to learn, explore, and share their creativity using 3D Printers, Cricut machines, Glowforge laser cutting, and a heat press. The space has recently opened its doors for students, faculty, and staff to experience and take home some of the items created by the machines.
The Makerspace offers an excellent opportunity for students to express themselves creatively by producing unique items such as keychains, coasters, stickers, and more. The machines will be available for use, and dedicated assistance will be provided on weekdays and by appointment.
We invite those who are interested in learning more about the Makerspace or utilizing the machines to contact University ITS at 419-434-4357 or via email at helpdesk@findlay.edu to request a consultation.
