Help Old: SearchOhio

Various tutorials to help you find sources, use specific databases, and become an effective researcher.

SearchOhio

What is SearchOhio?

SearchOhio is similar to OhioLINK, only it is a state-funded consortium of public libraries - not university libraries. UF students and faculty use the SearchOhio catalog to request books, films, and music from participating public libraries across the state of Ohio. And, like OhioLINK, SearchOhio is a free service for UF community members.

SearchOhio Request Directions

How do I request materials through SearchOhio?

1)     Visit the SearchOhio Catalog.

2)     Search for the item you wish to borrow. Click Request It.

3)     Choose University of Findlay as your institution from the dropdown menu.

4)     With your OilerOne card/University ID in hand, type your name and 14-digit barcode number beginning with 40633.

5)     Choose the UF Circulation Desk as your pickup location. Books will be delivered to Shafer Library for pickup. Requested items may take up to several business days to arrive at Shafer Library.
