Financial Ratios: Key Business Ratios

DIRECTIONS 

1. Go to Key Business Ratios using the link in the box above.

2. Click the yellow Continue button on the lower right side of the screen.

3. Navigate available data using the Reports, Ratios, and Profile tabs.

REPORTS
Industry Sub-tab

Browse ratio data by SIC code, Line of Business, or search by NAICS code. [More on finding a NAICS code.] The Group By dropdown menu allows you to sort results by asset or geographic region. 

Company Sub-tab
Search for a specific company or public/private companies in a specific SIC, NAICS, state, or any combination. Check the box to the left of companies you want to compare. Click Submit to view ratio data. 

My Financial Sub-tab
Allows you to enter financial statement data to use to compare against an industry or a company. Detailed instructions on using My Financial tab is available in the KBR Quick Reference Guide above. 

RATIOS 
Industry Sub-tab
1. Select either Solvency, Efficiency, or Profitability.
2. Limit to a specific NAICS, SIC, or Line of Business.

3. Further refine by Year or Asset Range.

Company Sub-tab

1. Select one of the Business Performance ratios: Profitability & Return, Solvency, Liquidity, Working Capital, Management Effectiveness, or Business & Insurance Ratio.

2. Search by company name, SIC, NAICS, geographic location, or more.

3. Use the slide bar to move to the right to see all ratios. 

PROFILE 

You can create a profile to upload financial data from another source or to save and share templates.
