OneSearch allows you to search through all of our partner institutions from OhioLINK. You can, though, limit your searching to only resources provided by UF Libraries.
To search UF library resources only, make sure that UF Library Resources is selected in the search bar's drop down menu.

To search the OhioLINK resources, you can change the drop down to OhioLINK Search.

OneSearch defaults to searching UF Library Resources when you first use the search tool, so if you want to search the wider array of resources available from OhioLINK please make sure to change the drop down menu!
Searches in the new OneSearch function just like in the old version. Your search can be a natural language search, or it can include specific resource information such as an author name, title, call number, , etc. You can also use Boolean operators or enter an Advanced Search to add more search criteria.
From the Simple Search, you can also select which material type you are looking for. The row beneath the search box lets you select books, articles, journals, and video/film. These will automatically restrict your search results to the selected resource type.

The options above the search bar give you a few extra options. You can reset ad start a new search, narrow your search to newspapers, look for specific citations, and access the new Journal Finder.

The Browse function allows you to search through UF Library resources through a title, author, subject, or call number search.

After performing a Simple or Advanced search, search results will then appear below the search bar and will provide you with options to refine your results. As in other databases and the old OneSearch, you can limit and sort your results by availability type, resource type, publication date, etc. You can also quickly cite, email, or favorite a resource from the options on the right side of the resource's title.

When you refine your results, you can also now exclude options by selecting the
icon to the right of the refining categories.
