Welcome back, Oilers! As you settle back into your dorms this semester, we have a housing-themed Flashback Friday for you! Did you know that Findlay College once had a trailer park on campus? In the 1940s, an area of campus was utilized for married student housing. The college received 20 federally-supplied trailers and were placed northeast of Bare Hall (near the old athletic field). The area was named "Trailer City" and the college allowed residents to use campus facilities. Each furnished trailer contained a stove, refrigerator, and heater and the rent was $26.00 per month (including water and utilities).
