Primary & Secondary Sources
Research articles are the most common type of primary source used in the sciences. You can find defintions and examples of primary and secondary sources in the Primary & Secondary Sources tab.
Article Databases
Have a great citation and can't find full text of the article? If so, type the name of your journal in "Journal Finder" to see if full text is available in one of our library sources. Journal Finder is located in the Article Databases tab.
Tutorials
To learn the basics of searching the databases, click on a tab to view screenshots and short videos for specific databases. The skills you learn in one database can easily be transferred to another since article databases tend to use the same features and funtionality.
Find Books
This tab shows you how to locate books at UF, through the OhioLINK library catalog, and electronically. If requesting books through OhioLINK, choose the pickup location closest to where you live in the state. If you live out of state, the e-books will be your best source.
